Stuart Butler

Poet, performer, writer, walker – and, yes, still a teacher two days a week – Stuart Butler runs counter-heritage performative walks and practice at Radical Stroud. He is currently walking, writing and performing about the 1839 Newport Rising – ‘The last armed insurrection on British soil’. He is a member of the Bristol Radical History Group and also Decolonising History.
